Description
Tropical Cyclone Jasper was the wettest tropical cyclone in Australian history, surpassing Peter of 1979. On 13 December 2023, Jasper made landfall with 3.2 metres of accumulated rainfall recorded in less than a week, causing over 100 landslips across the Douglas Shire.
