Art in Transit was behind a collective gallery concept, based in Port Douglas, spearheaded by visual artist Chrissie Mclaughlin. The collection of paintings, photography, sculptures, silks, jewellery and pottery had been carefully curated in the space (currently closed) which showcased each artist, with the artists themselves running the gallery, giving locals and visitors to the region an opportunity to interact with the artist and their works. Â Pirouetting as artists will, Art in Transit is now an online art gallery, during COVID the collective is still creating and now present a virtual gallery with all your favourite FNQ Collective artists.
Our online shop is bursting with FNQ artworks. We have also added a Fine Art Print Gallery & Resale Art Gallery.
The gallery is coming to Port Douglas again in the future.
