Jacqueline Joosen

I am a Dutch Australian artist living in paradise in Port Douglas, Australia. I have extensive experience creating artworks in a range of media including ceramics, jewellery and sculptures. I now concentrate my creative passions on creating original, mixed media paintings.

The natural landscape informs and inspires my artworks, which are predominately abstract. My subject matter (and subsequently my art) ranges from the ethereal to the mundane – a recognition that beauty and wonder can be found all around us. I am often inspired by the natural landscape and enjoy creating atmospheric pieces that are meaningful to the viewer in different ways.
